What is TrailKit?
A platform for building agents: small, always-on assistants that handle recurring work for you. You describe what you want in plain English, connect the tools the agent needs, and tell it when to wake up. After that it runs on its own. The Overview has the full picture.
Do I need to be technical?
No. No code, no diagrams, no scripting. You write to the agent the way you'd write to a smart new hire. It asks follow-ups if anything's unclear.
How long does the first one take?
About fifteen minutes for something simple. The Your First Agent page walks through a real example end to end.
How do I connect another app?
Open Integrations in the sidebar, find the app, hit Connect, sign in on the provider's page. You don't give TrailKit your password. You grant a limited permission that you can pull back anytime. See Connections.
What happens if I disconnect something?
Agents that depended on it pause cleanly. They don't crash silently. They tell you they've lost access and wait for you to either reconnect or change the plan. We delete the stored credentials on disconnect.
Can anyone else see what my agents do?
No. Your workspace is private. Your agents, connections, conversations, and uploads are only visible to people you've explicitly added.
Where can I see what an agent actually did?
On the agent's page, in the Runs view. Every wake-up is recorded with what triggered it, every step the agent took, and the outcome. You can scroll back through history, expand any step, and use it to give feedback for next time.
How do I pause or stop an agent?
From the agent's page, Pause takes it offline without losing setup or history. Resume brings it back exactly as it was. Archive retires it permanently while keeping the run history.
Do you use my data to train models?
No. Your conversations, uploads, and the actions agents take on your behalf are never used to train models. The Privacy page has the full details.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Conversations, agent setups, runs, uploaded files, all of it. If you cancel, your data stays exportable for 30 days afterward.
What does it cost?
Plans are billed monthly. The monthly allowance covers a generous amount of agent activity. Heavier use (lots of agents, long-running tasks, big files) eats more of the allowance. The Billing page shows usage in real time. There's a free tier to try the product.
What happens if I'm low on units and my agent starts a turn?
When an agent starts a turn and you're low on units, we let it finish — better to land cleanly than stop mid-thought. That sometimes pushes you a bit past your balance, which we don't bill. If you top up later, the overage comes out of your purchase before anything new runs.
How do I cancel?
Avatar menu → Billing → Cancel plan. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your agents keep running until then, and your data stays exportable for 30 days afterward.
I asked the agent to do something and it got it wrong.
Tell it so in chat. "Actually you should have skipped anything from no-reply addresses." "Treat anything from my CEO as urgent." It updates its own instructions and applies the correction from there on out. You don't have to edit anything by hand.
