About

TrailKit is a platform for building agents: small, always-on assistants that take recurring work off your plate. You describe what done looks like in plain English, hook up the tools you already use, and the agent handles the rest. No diagrams. No scripts.

Why we built it

Every automation tool we'd used before wanted us to map out the workflow in advance. Either a wall of text or a node-and-arrows canvas. It worked until the real world stepped off the path, which was usually about a week in. A customer phrases something differently. A vendor returns a different field. A step that worked yesterday doesn't today. Then the maintenance was on us, forever.

The right interface for offloading work, we think, is a coworker. You tell it the outcome, it figures out the steps, it asks when it isn't sure, and it shows you what it did so you can correct it. That's TrailKit.

What we won't do

• Lock you in. Your conversations, agent setups, and data are exportable. You own what's yours.
• Ship features without an off-switch. Every capability is opt-in and revocable from your dashboard.
• Quietly send your data places you didn't ask. Your work only goes to systems you've connected, for the tasks you've asked an agent to do.

Who we are

A small team that's spent careers on the painful side of this problem. Building, buying, and being on call for automations that broke at the worst possible time. We're trying to build the tool we wish we'd had.
