- What is a unit?
- A unit measures the work your agents do on your behalf, based on the model effort each step takes. Most everyday tasks (drafting a reply, summarizing a thread, hitting a couple of APIs) land somewhere between 3 and 15 units, with a 2-unit minimum per message.
- What counts as a trigger?
- A trigger is anything that can wake TrailKit up: a schedule, an inbound webhook, a Slack mention, an email rule, or a file landing in a watched folder. Plan limits apply to how many triggers you have active at once, not how often they fire.
- What happens when I run out of units?
- Your agents pause until your balance refills. Daily bonus units land every day at midnight Pacific, and paid plans add a monthly grant that refreshes each month (unused monthly units don't roll over).
